كان اللقاء بيننا ضروريّا، لا، لم يكن ضروريّاً فحسب، و إنما كان أمنية و غاية…لقد قضينا سنوات زهرة العمر سويّاً، عشنا الحياة الطلابيّة في فترة الثانوي و إبان الدراسة الجامعيّة: كتوأمي روح متطابقين… و لم يكن للفروقات في التوجهات العامة و اختلاف وجهة النظر السياسيّة، لم يكن لها أي دور أو تأثير على متانة الرابط الروحي، بيننا… و لم تعكر صفو الإرتياح النفسي لبعضنا البعض…
كانت الأريحيّة حاضرة دائماً، كان جيبنا واحد و كنّا نقتسم اللقمة بالمعني الحرفي القاموسي للكلمة، و نتبادل الملابس، حتى أنعكس ذلك شبهاً في الملامح و طريقة الكلام و المزاج العام.
ما فرَّقنا هو: (العمل!)، فقد أنتدبت للعمل في أحدى المصالح الأقليميّة، بينما استوعب هو معيداً في الجامعة، و ما هو إلا وقت وجيز حتى استوعب في أحدى شركات الصناعات الحربيّة، ثم أوفد إلى الدولة التي كانت تستثمر كشريك مع حكومتنا في ذلك المصنع، ثم أوفد، هو، إلى الدولة نفسها للمزيد من الدراسات العليا و التحصيل، و أنا في حال واحد، أثناء تنقلاته كلها، بالمصلحة الأقليمية.
و مرّت ثلاث سنوات قبل أن يتاح لنا اللقاء، حيثُ يقيم هو، ذلك اللقاء الذى كانت تسبقني اليه اللهفة و الشوق… و الذي طالما تمنيته و لاهيت به…
وتبادلنا الأحضان، خيل إلى أنها أبرد مما أردت، و برغم ذلك طفرت دموع، لا إرادية، حرصت إلا يراها…
و جلستُ و جلس قبالتي…
بدلة و كرفته، و مفاتيح السيارة على طرف الطاولة…فسألته:
– نحن ماشين مشوار؟
– لأ، أنا جايي من البيت لهنا دوغري عشان أقابلك، لا برامج أخرى لدي!
– طيب قاشر كدة مالك؟
– و الله بقيت ما بعرف أمرق بدون البدلة و الكرفته.
– أها!
و جاء الساقي، فطلب هو عصير برتقال بعد أن سألني من طلبي:
– قهوة تركيّة!
و أنطلقتُ في الكلام، و أنا أضحك، مستجيراً بمواقف مرحة من الماضي، قال إنه لا يتذكر أغلبها…فلذتُ بالصمت الحائر لوهلة، لأن بعض تلك المواقف كان محفوراً و مرسوماً بماء الذهب في ذاكرتي و وجداني، و كنت أباهي به حتى نفسي!…
ثُم تعسَّم الكلام، و تباعدت أسئلة شتراء، وسادت حالة من الترحيب المصطنع مكان إلفة زمان، و بانت بالأضافة إلى البدلة، بانت حذلقته في الكلام، و تمنيت للحظة أن تكون حذلقة شكليّة و لكنها كانت، للأسف في المُحتوى و عظم الظهر، و أحسست أني أجالس شخصاً غير (مهدي) من حيثُ الأريحيّة و الإهتمامات…
غرباءُ، إذن، نحنُ!
و احسستُ بفراغٍ و ضياعات شتَّى، و هاجَت بطنِي و ماجَت، و وجدتني أتقافز نحو الحمام، حيث أفرغت أمعائي و لفظت (التيركش كوفي)…
و عندما عرض (مهدي) علي أن يوصلني إلى حيثُ أريد، تعللت بأن البيت قريب، و كان، لو تعلمون، غير ذلك.
و لكن كان عزائي، أن: النسيم تدفق رقيقاً، و أنا أتأمَّل معالم الطريق، من مجلسي في البص إلى البيت، و يقلل تلاعبه و تداعبه فوق وجهي من الغصة التي أصابتني، بعدما نقص عددُ أحبائي: واحِداً!
