منذ سقوط مدينة الفاشر في يد قوات الدعم السريع في أكتوبر ٢٠٢٥، انطلقت آلة إعلامية ضخمة يقودها فلول النظام البائد وجماعة الإخوان المسلمين، تزعم أن القوات المنتصرة ارتكبت مجازر ضد المدنيين، وأن مئات النساء والأطفال قُتلوا بدمٍ بارد.
لكن خلف هذا الضجيج، كانت الحقيقة أكثر وضوحًا من أي وقتٍ مضى: ما نُشر لم يكن سوى حرب تضليلٍ إعلامي محبوكة هدفها إنقاذ بقايا مشروع الكيزان من الانهيار الكامل.
في غضون أيام من تحرير المدينة، امتلأت منصات التواصل بآلاف الصور والفيديوهات الدامية.
وبتحقيقٍ مهني أجرته سكاي نيوز عربية بالتعاون مع المنصة الدولية Bellingcat، تبيّن أن معظم هذه المواد — وعددها ٣٧ صورة ومقطع فيديو — مفبركة أو مصطنعة بالذكاء الاصطناعي، أو منقولة من دولٍ أخرى مثل تشاد ومالي وتونس.
التضليل كسلاحٍ في معركة الخسارة
أثبتت التحقيقات أن ماكينة الكيزان الإعلامية استخدمت أدواتها القديمة — من القنوات الفضائية إلى المنصات الإلكترونية — لتضليل الرأي العام المحلي والدولي.
الهدف كان واضحًا: إقناع العالم بأن النصر في الفاشر جريمة، وأن المهزوم هو الضحية.
غير أنّ الحقائق الموثّقة أسقطت هذا القناع بسرعة.
فقد كشفت Bellingcat أن بعض المقاطع التي وُصفت بأنها “جرائم دعم سريع” تعود في الأصل لأحداث في دولٍ أفريقية أخرى، أو لمقاطع أنشأها الذكاء الاصطناعي بالكامل.
إنها عملية تضليلٍ ممنهجة، أراد الكيزان من خلالها تحويل الفشل العسكري إلى انتصارٍ دعائي.
الخسارة الأخلاقية قبل العسكرية
إنّ أخطر ما في هذه الأكاذيب أنها تُضرّ بالضحايا الحقيقيين، وتُضعف ثقة المجتمع الدولي في الأدلة الموثوقة.
فعندما تُختلط الأكاذيب بالحقائق، يصبح المجرم بريئًا، وتُمحى دماء الأبرياء وسط الضجيج.
من هنا، يُطلَب من دول الرباعية (الولايات المتحدة، بريطانيا، السعودية، والإمارات)، ومعها الأمم المتحدة، أن تراجع وتنسحب من الاتهامات التي بُنيت على مواد مفبركة.
فالمسؤولية الأخلاقية تقتضي الاعتذار وتصحيح السردية، لا التمادي في ترديد دعايةٍ تخدم بقايا المشروع الإسلاموي المهزوم.
لقد تحررت الفاشر بالسلاح، لكن الحقيقة حررتها من الكذب.
وسيبقى سجلّها شاهدًا على أن الوعي أقوى من الإعلام، وأن التضليل مهما طال عمره… لا ينتصر على الضوء.

The El-Fashir Disinformation War: How Fact-Checking Exposed the Islamists’ Lies

Following the fall of El-Fashir in October 2025, a massive media campaign orchestrated by remnants of Sudan’s Islamist regime and the Muslim Brotherhood unleashed a storm of fabricated images and gruesome videos, alleging that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) had massacred civilians.
But evidence has now revealed that these claims were part of a coordinated disinformation war designed to rescue the defeated regime’s reputation and distort the victory of the Founding Alliance (TASIS).
Within days, social media was flooded with thousands of photos and clips depicting horrific scenes.
Yet, investigations by Sky News Arabia and the independent verification platform Bellingcat confirmed that most of the 37 visual materials analyzed were AI-generated, digitally altered, or taken from unrelated conflicts in Chad, Mali, and Tunisia.
Deception as a Weapon of Defeat
The Islamist media machine weaponized misinformation to shift global perception — to turn a military defeat into a moral illusion of victimhood.
But the facts, methodically verified, exposed the deception.
Bellingcat revealed that several viral clips had no relation to Sudan at all; some were created entirely by artificial intelligence, while others were recycled from unrelated tragedies.
This wasn’t journalism — it was propaganda dressed as empathy, designed to manipulate outrage and stall the moral momentum of Sudan’s liberation.
The Ethical Collapse
The real tragedy of such deceit lies in how it harms genuine victims and erodes confidence in verified field documentation.
When lies masquerade as evidence, accountability dies — and those responsible for real crimes hide behind the smoke of fabricated ones.
Therefore, the Quartet (United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE) — together with the United Nations and other international actors — must revise and withdraw their unfounded allegations built upon unverified or falsified reports.
Responsible diplomacy must be guided by truth, not by the echo of Islamist propaganda.
The credibility of international institutions will be measured not by how loudly they condemn, but by how honestly they verify.
El-Fashir was liberated by force, but the truth liberated it again from falsehood.
Its story now stands as proof that awareness outlives manipulation — and light, inevitably, defeats deceit.
