ألمانيا في عامها الخامس والثلاثين: إعادة وحدة دائمة، درس لشبه الجزيرة الكورية (الحوار السادس)

تحتفل ألمانيا بمرور ۳۵ عامًا على وحدتها، منذ سقوط جدار برلين التاريخي. تنشر آسيان (هنا بالتعاون مع سودانايل) سلسلة خاصة من المقابلات مع ألمان يتأملون في مسيرة البلاد نحو إعادة الوحدة. وتلتقط هذه الروايات تجارب أفراد شهدوا آثار كسر الحواجز وفتح أبواب لمستقبل مشترك.
تسلط هذه التأملات، التي تتسم بالإنصاف والأصالة، الضوء على مواضيع الكرامة والصمود والأمل. وتتجاوز الروايات السطحية لتقدم منظورات أعمق حول أهمية إعادة التوحيد لألمانيا والعالم.

تجاربي الشخصية كشاب قبل إعادة توحيد ألمانيا
كان كل شيء مقيدًا ومحددًا؛ لم يكن يُسمح لك بالتعبير عن رأيك جهرًا. لذا لم أستطع الدراسة لأنني رفضت الانضمام إلى جمعية الصداقة الألمانية السوفيتية.
مشاعري خلال عملية إعادة توحيد ألمانيا
كنت متشككًا للغاية، ومتشككًا أيضًا في كيفية سير الأمور، بما في ذلك الحرية والسفر، وما إلى ذلك.
كيف تغيرت حياتي ومجتمعي في العقود الثلاثة الماضية؟
تغيرت حياتي للأفضل. تمكنت من الدراسة والسفر وتجربة الكثير في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية (ولا سيما كاليفورنيا). تمكنت من رؤية دول أخرى وزيارة أصدقائنا في النرويج.
لقد انهار النظام وعليه بعض من المجتمع وقتها، ولكن تحسن وضع الكثيرين، لكنني أرى أيضًا أن كثير من الناس لم يتمكنوا من التطلع إلى الأمام والكفاح، وإيجاد طرق أخرى بديلة ومناسبة للمضي قدمًا (على سبيل المثال: فقدان الوظائف، وإغلاق الشركات).
ما أحبه في ألمانيا، موطني
أصبحت هناك أمور كثيرة أكثر إيجابية عما قبل. لدينا الآن نظام رعاية صحية وتعليم يعملان بكفاءة، ونظام توظيفي (مع وقف التشغيل)، وما إلى ذلك. أشعر الآن بالراحة والأمان، ويمكنني التعبير عن رأيي بحرية.
وجهات نظري الخاصة حول دروس إعادة توحيد ألمانيا وإعادة توحيد كوريا
يجب أن نتقبل بعضنا البعض ونسمح باختلاف الآراء الأخرى ونتقبلها. للأسف، لا يزال هناك الانقسام بين الشرق والغرب قائمًا في أذهان بعض الناس في ألمانيا. ولا أعتقد أنه سيكون هناك قبول تام بعد الوحدة ، ولا حتى في كوريا.
ما هي المزايا التي أراها لكوريا ومستقبلها من إعادة توحيد شبه الجزيرة الكورية المحتملة؟
سيكون كل شيء أفضل وأسهل تحقيقًا إذا كانت الدولة موحدة. يجب أن يكون شعبًا واحدًا، جميعنا كوريون، تمامًا كما نحن جميعًا ألمان في الوقت الحالي.
كيف يبدو مسار التعايش المتسامح والمحترم بين شعوب العالم؟
من المهم ألا نتعامل مع العالم بنظرة ضيقة الأفق، بل أن نتقبل الثقافات الأخرى ونتعلم من بعضنا البعض.
يعني السلام والأمن في العالم ما يلي:
يستحق جميع الناس العيش في سلام وأمن، وأن يكون لهم تأثير إيجابي على تحديات تغير المناخ، وأن يفكروا مليا في الأجيال القادمة.

Germany at 35: An Enduring Reunification, A Lesson for the Korean Peninsula (Interview-VI)

My own experiences as a young person before German reunification
Everything was very restricted and prescribed; you weren’t allowed to express your opinion out loud. I couldn’t study because I refused to become a member of the German-Soviet Friendship Association.
My feelings during the German reunification process
I was very skeptical, and also very skeptical about how everything would work, what with freedom, travel, etc.
How my life and society have changed in the last three decades?
My life has changed for the better. I was able to study and experience a lot in the US (mainly California). I was able to see other countries and visit our friends in Norway.
Society has collapsed, many are doing better, but I also see that many people haven’t managed to look forward and fight, to find other ways of moving forward (for example: job loss, business closures).
What I love about Germany as my home?
Many things have become more positive. We have a well-functioning health care system and education, order (decommissioning), etc. I feel comfortable and safe, and can express my opinion.
My own perspectives on the lessons of German reunification for Korean reunification
That we accept each other and allow and embrace other opinions. Unfortunately, this East / West divide still lingers in the minds of some people in Germany. I do not think there will be 100 % acceptance, not even in Korea.
What advantages I see for Korea and its future about a possible reunification of the Korean peninsula?
Everything will be better and easier to achieve if it is one state. It should be one people, all Koreans, just as we all are Germans at the moment.
What the path to tolerant and respectful coexistence among people worldwide looks like?
It is important not to go through the world with narrow-mindedness, but rather to accept other cultures and to learn from each other.
Peace and security in the world mean the following:
All people deserve to live in peace and security, to have a positive impact on climate change, and to think about future generations.
