دعا حكومة السودان احترام حرية التعبير
اعرب الاتحاد الاوربي عن قلقه حول احداث المظاهرات التى تمت في الخرطوم والمدن السودانية الاخرى والذى نتج عن رفع الدعم عن المحروقات. واعرب الاتحاد الاوربي عن قلقه حول حجم العنف والتزايد في عدد القتلى والجرحى والمعتقلين من المدنيين السودانيين بالاضافة الى الاضرار بالممتلكات.
ان الاتحاد الاوربي يدعو جميع الاطراف بالابتعاد عن العنف. ويرجو الاتحاد الاوربي من حكومة السودان احترام حرية التعبير و حرية الاعلام و حرية التجمع السلمي للشعب السوداني.
European Union express concern on ongoing protests in Sudan
The European Union is concerned about the on-going protests in Khartoum and other Sudanese cities sparked by the removal of subsidies. The European Union is disturbed by the reported violence with rising numbers of civilian casualties and arrests as well as the material damage caused.
The European Union calls on all actors to avoid further violence. We particularly appeal to the Government of Sudan to respect the Sudanese peoples’ right to freedom of expression, freedom of the media and freedom of peaceful assembly.
