التقى الدكتور كامل ادريس المدير العام الاسبق للمنظمة العالمية للملكية الفكرية بسفير الاتحاد الاوربي في السودان توماس يوليشنى بمقر اقامته. واستعرض الدكتور كامل ادريس مع الدبلوماسى الاوربي اهمية المصالحة الوطنية بين جميع القوى السياسية السودانية لتعزيز مكاسب السلام والتنمية. وأشاد الدكتور كامل ادريس بالدور الذى يلعبه الاتحاد الاوربي والدول الاوربية في مساعدة جهود السلام بين السودان وجنوب السودان.
وأكد سفير الاتحاد الاوربي توماس يوليشنى ان الاتحاد الاوربي ملتزم تجاه دعم السلام في السودان. ووصف أن المصالحة الوطنية واستمرار الحوار البناء بين جميع القوى السياسية امر حيوي في مرحلة كتابة الدستور والعملية الانتخابية المقبلة لتحقيق السلام في السودان والاستقرار في منطقة القرن الافريقي.
European Union: National Dialogue is the key to Peace and Development in Sudan
Dr. Kamil Idris, Former Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) received H.E. Ambassador Tomas Ulicny, Head of Delegation of the European Union at his residence. In the meeting, Dr. Kamil Idris shared the views with the European diplomat the significance of national reconciliation among all Sudanese political forces to strengthen the dividends of peace and development. Dr. Kamil praised the role played by the European Union and the European countries in assisting the peace efforts between Sudan and South Sudan.
Ambassador Tomas Ulicny confirmed the European Union’s commitment to peace in Sudan. He described that continued National reconciliation and constructive dialogue among all the political forces is vital. He added that the process of constitutional review and electoral process are important to achieve peace and stability in Sudan and the horn of Africa.
