في يوم 15 سبتمبر 2025، حددت الدائرة الابتدائية الأولى في المحكمة الجنائية الدولية (“المحكمة”) موعد إصدار حكمها بشأن الإدانة أو البراءة في قضية المدعي العام ضد علي محمد علي عبد الرحمن (“علي كوشيب”) ليكون في 6 أكتوبر 2025 الساعة 14:00 بتوقيت لاهاي المحلي.
سيتم تلاوة الحكم علنًا في قاعة المحكمة الأولى بالمحكمة الجنائية الدولية، وستُنقل الجلسة مباشرة عبر الموقع الإلكتروني للمحكمة. وسيتم توفير معلومات عملية، لا سيما حول كيفية الحضور أو متابعة الجلسة، في وقت أقرب من تاريخ انعقادها.
وفقًا للمادة 74 من نظام روما الأساسي، سيقوم القضاة إما بتبرئة المتهم أو إدانته. ويُفترض أن المتهم أمام المحكمة الجنائية الدولية بريء حتى تثبت إدانته. ويتعين على الادعاء إثبات مسؤولية المتهم، ولن تدين الدائرة الابتدائية المتهم إلا إذا اقتنعت بأن التهم قد ثبتت بما لا يدع مجالًا للشك. وتستند الدائرة في قرارها فقط إلى القانون المعمول به والأدلة المقدمة والمناقشة خلال المحاكمة.
وبعد صدور الحكم، سيكون بإمكان الأطراف استئناف القرار أمام دائرة الاستئناف في المحكمة الجنائية الدولية.

Abd-Al-Rahman case: ICC Trial Chamber I to deliver trial judgment 6 October 2025
Today, 15 September 2025, Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court (“ICC” or “Court”) scheduled the delivery of its judgment on conviction or acquittal in the case of The Prosecutor v. Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-Al-Rahman (“Ali Kushayb”) for 6 October 2025 at 14:00 (The Hague local time).
The judgment will be read out in public in ICC Courtroom I and the hearing will be transmitted live through the ICC website. Practical information, in particular on how to attend or watch the delivery, will be provided closer to the date of the hearing.
Pursuant to article 74 of the Rome Statute, the judges will either acquit or convict the accused. The accused before the ICC is presumed innocent. While the Prosecution must prove the guilt of the accused, the Trial Chamber will convict the accused only if it is satisfied that the charges have been proven beyond reasonable doubt. The Chamber bases its decision only on the applicable law and on evidence submitted and discussed before it at the trial. In response to the verdict, the parties will be able to appeal the decision before the ICC’s Appeals Chamber.
