أكمل 22 من المقاتلين السابقين بحركة التحرير والعدالة فى 23 يناير، ورشة تدريبية ركزت على بنود اتفاقية الدوحة للسلام فى دارفور ورفع قدراتهم الادارية.
وتضمنت الورشة التى استمرت لثلاثة ايام ونظمتها البعثة المشتركة للاتحاد الافريقى والامم المتحدة فى دارفور (اليوناميد) فى الفاشر، شمال دارفور، مناقشات مكثفة حول دور مفوضية وقف اطلاق النار وهى الجسم المنصوص عليه في اتفاقية الدوحة والمعني رسميا برصد وتنفيذ وقف دائم لاطلاق النار والترتيبات الامنية النهائية.
وفى مقابلة مع اليوناميد عقب الورشة، اكد اسماعيل ريفا، رئيس اركان حركة التحرير والعدالة ان الورشة مفيدة وغنية بالمعلومات حول القضايا المتعلقة بوقف اطلاق النار والترتيبات الامنية وقال”سوف نكون قادرين على نقل المعرفة التى تلقيناها الى زملائنا.”
وقد صممت الورشة لمساعدة عناصر حركة التحرير والعدالة الـ22 لتولى مهامهم الأدارية بالسلطة الاقليمية لدارفور.

Former combatants participate in ceasefire workshop
On 23 January, 22 former combatants of the Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) completed a workshop focusing on the articles of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD) and geared toward enhancing the participants’ administrative skills.
The three-day session, organized by the African Union – United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) in El Fasher, North Darfur, included extensive discussions on the role of the Ceasefire Commission, an entity that is stipulated in the DDPD and officially charged with monitoring and implementing a permanent ceasefire and final security arrangements.
In an interview with UNAMID following the workshop, LJM Chief of Staff Ismail Rifa noted that the workshop was beneficial and informative, particularly on issues related to ceasefire and security arrangements. “This workshop allowed us to transfer the knowledge we learned to our colleagues,” he said.
The training was designed to assist the 22 LJM members in carrying out their administrative duties with the Darfur Regional Authority.
