Joint Chief Mediator a. i. to the people of Darfur
on the occasion of Eid El Fitr
UNAMID Joint Special Representative and Joint Chief Mediator ad interim Ibrahim Gambari wishes to congratulate the people of Darfur on the auspicious occasion of Eid El Fitr, which marks the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
“I hope this festive season brings goodwill, peace, forgiveness and happiness to all in the spirit of Eid El Fitr.”
“May this holy period guide us and foster our solidarity so that prosperity and the values of peace, reconciliation and dialogue may prevail in Darfur and the Sudan,” he said.
