تم اعتقال الصحفي والناشط الحقوقي حسن إسحاق (29 سنة) من قبل الشرطة في مدينة النهود في غرب كردفان يوم الثلاثاء 10 يونيو 2014. وفقاً لمحاميه، تعرض حسن للتعذيب المفرط إلى أن إضطرت قوات الشرطة التي إعتقلته لإدخاله المستشفى لمدة يومين.
كان حسن في مهمة مع جريدة “الجريدة” في النهود، لتغطية خطاب رئيس حزب المعارضة، “حزب المؤتمر السوداني” إبراهيم الشيخ، الذي أٌعتقل بعد خطابه.
أعتقل حسن أيضاً بعد الخطاب، وأٌعتقل معه خمسة طلاب من “مؤتمر الطلاب المستقلين” و هم:
عبد الرحيم عثمان: طالب في جامعة غرب كردفان؛
مروان إسحاق عرجة: طالب في جامعة الخرطوم؛
فتحي محمد: طالب في جامعة الخرطوم؛
محمد عابدين: طالب في جامعة السودان؛ و
نصر الدين محمد حسين: طالب في جامعة السودان.
ألقي القبض على حسن والآخرين بموجب قانون الطوارئ في ولاية غرب كردفان، الذي يعطي السلطات الحق في الإحتفاظ بالأشخاص لمدة تصل إلى ستة أشهر دون توجيه أي تهم. كشف محامي حسن أن قانون الطوارئ غامض، وأنه لم يستطع الحصول على تفاصيله لفهم عواقبه.
بدأ حسن و الطلاب المعتقلين يوم الخميس 19 يونيو إضرابا عن الطعام في سجن النهود للإحتجاج على إحتجازهم دون توجيه إتهامات حتى الآن.
من هو حسن إسحاق؟
حسن معروف لكثير من الزملاء والأصدقاء كصحفي و مدون <http://hassanishag.wordpress.com/> مصادم، مجتهد و صادق. أدخلته آرائه في مشاكل عسيرة مع السلطات. ألقي القبض على حسن في يوليو 2012 أثناء المحاكمة المثيرة للجدل لعضو قرفنا رضوان داود <http://www.girifna.com/6658> . وواجه وحشية الشرطة أنذاك، حيث ضربوه و سرقوا ممتلكاته بما فيها بطاقته الصحفية.
ويواصل حسن على المثابرة لتقديم تحاليل وتقارير عن الوضع المزري لنشطاء حقوق الإنسان والمجتمعات المهمشة تحت وطأة القبضة الشمولية على السلطة من حزب المؤتمر الوطني وجهازه للمخابرات الوطنية والأمن .
عائلة حسن وأصدقائه قلقون للغاية لمعرفتهم بشجاعتة وطيبة قلبه و هو محتجز في ظل الإعتقال و الإنعزال عن العالم الخارجي لأجل غير مسمى، دون توجيه إتهامات له.

Journalist Hassan Ishag was arrested by police in Al Nuhud city, West Kordofan on June 10, 2014.
On Tuesday June 10, 2014, journalist and human rights activist Hassan Ishag (29 years old) was arrested by the police in the city of Al Nuhud in West Kordofan. According to his lawyer, Hassan was tortured and the police were forced to hospitalize him for two days. Hassan was on an assignment with Al Jareeda newspaper, covering the speech of the head of the opposition party, the Sudanese Congress Party (SCP), Ibrahim El Sheikh. El Sheikh was detained after his speech. Hassan was also detained after the speech, along with five students from the Independent Students’ Conference (ISC) who included the following:
* Abdel Rahim Osman: a student at the University of West Kordofan;
* Marwan Ishag Arja: a student at the University of Khartoum;
* Fathi Mohamed: a student at the University of Khartoum;
* Mohamed Abdin: a student at Sudan University; and
* Nasreldin Mohamed Hussein: a student at Sudan University.
Hassan and others were arrested under the Emergency Laws of West Kordofan state, which gives the authorities the right to keep someone for up to six months without charges. Hassan’s lawyers revealed the emergency law is vague, and they have no access to it to fully understand its consequences. On Thursday, June 19th, Hassan and the other detainees began a hunger strike at Al-Nuhud prison to protest being held without charges.
Who is Hassan Ishaq?
Hassan is known to many colleagues and friends as a hard-working, confrontational and honest journalist and blogger <http://hassanishag.wordpress.com/> . His views have landed him in pitfalls with the authorities. He was arrested in July 2012 during the controversial trial of girifna member Rudwan Dawood <http://www.girifna.com/6658> . He faced police brutality and was robbed of his belongings including his press card. Hassan continues to persevere to deliver analysis and reports on the dire situation that human rights activists and marginalized people face under the National Congress Party and National Intelligence and Security Services’ (NISS) totalitarian grip on power. His family and friends are extremely worried about the courageous and kindhearted Hassan, who is held without charges, indefinitely and incommunicado.
