That day of July 2013 , noon time , l was standing before the Passport Counter at Chicago Airport in my first leg trip to USA, while the officer was checking the paper which I handed him listing things that the arrivals should bring in alongwith those that they shouldn’t , l was fully occupied by my luggage heaped beside me adding more burden to feeling of uneasiness and annoyment while seeing a huge police hound sniffing near me with it’s nose aiming as a pistol to my bags.
Never believed myself when things went well ,, collected my belongings , headed to the electric ladder to cross to the gate of Minneapolis, my final destination flown to via American United, one of the best domestic planes that serve local trips .
The sofisticated carrier when about to land I peeped through the window, there a magnificent scenery beyond imagination filled me with a high sensation of joy that I never felt before.
A huge carpet of greeness stretched endlessly in the horizon besides pools and pools of water at all sides .
Minnesota State is known for its 10,000 lakes .
My daughter received me happily with a warm welcome, led me outside to the car, owned by her friend Jane , who upon being introduced to her exprssed her happiness and nice feelings to see me and from that moment committed herself to make my visit to Dream Land a history.
She was to her word, genoursly took me , my daughter and the kids to Minnesota International Fair .
There I saw new wonders of the world and forgot all the pains I had left behind in my beloved country caused by the cruility of riot police against the demonstraters who took to the streets calling for Democracy and denouncing the one party rule and dictatorship of any kind .
