When Jamal Wally's mother died, I know only that he's a millionaire and Mars Club president at the time. One of my relatives led me, and he was also a millionaire to go, actually, I didn't know who we were going to, and I didn't care about it. We went into the big hall waiting for the parents, where the servants told us he was sleeping, and he'd wake up shortly. He was with us about 15 men, and about half an hour later, he came down to us in a very simple jug, and he sat down to us. He's generally a silent organism. Little talk. I'm very careful, apparently, but what really surprised me is the amount of tribe, compliment, praise and grace that was coming out of the mouths of men, reminded me of the hypocrisy of the nation, and they organize poems in princes to receive grants and donations. But what I really heard was worse than the poem systems, but it was very sliding. No man in front of a man who was acting like a son-in-law, watching him like a god, we spent a third of an hour sliding while he was silent, not even smiling. But the strangest of all this is that most of these were also millions of people. And I think some of them have been dealing with some of his financial crises through Wally's beauty, yet there's no logical reason and my mind justifies that amount of sliding and moral loss.
Years ago, I went on a visit to one of those billionaires, a very modest man, and a university gave him a proud doctor, even though his honorary doctor gave some of the people who had offered human and cultural services and not everyone else, but surely giving a millionaire of his honorable doctorship meant donating with us a great deal of money to the donor university, and in any case the honorary doctor was not a degree, but just a humor and a humorous and a dishonour.
في الواقع المجتمع السوداني صار خبيرا في التزلف والتملق ، بل وبما ان هذا صار ظاهرة فقط شرعنوه بمسمى كوميدي وهو كسر الثلج ، فعادي جدا أن تشاهد تزلف موظف لمديره في العمل ، وتزلف الاستاذ لناظر المدرسة ، وتزلف العضو لرئيس الحزب ، وتزلف المعارضة للحكومة …الخ … إن هذا المجتمع الذي كان يتغنى بالكبرياء والفروسية ، فقد كرامته بالكامل ، وفقد الرجال فيه أبسط قيم الرجولة ، وانتهى الأمر بالمجتمع ككل إلى مجتمع لا تحكمه سوى حسابات المصلحة. وأعتقد ان هذا شيء جيد بل وممتاز.. ففي حالة انفتاح الدولة اقتصاديا سيتلقى الشعب قيم وثقافة الرأسمالية بالقبول لأنها لن تكون غريبة عليه بل هي في دمه وعقله وقلبه … إن ما شاهدته في الواقع تطور كبير ودرجة من درجات الوعى بنسبية القيم كالأخلاق والشجاعة والكبرياء والكرامة وهلم جرا.. جميل جدا أن تكسر قيم الأجداد التاريخية وتتمرد على الصيغ القديمة الموجهة للسلوك الفردي ..وترسم انت لنفسك ملامح سلوك يتناسب مع الزمن… زمن التذلف والنفاق وتملق..
