Nine years had passed ، then I came back to my beloved country.
I had a wish to rejoin my previous career, an intermediate school master at government schools .
The official at the Education Office explicitly convinced me that my return unfortunately would collide with the law stipulating that any employee absented himself from work for more than five years couldn’t be accepted once again.
I argued that in Saudi Arabia I filled a post of translator at a major company which recruit manpower from the four corners of the globe , Tasks and responsibilites are usually run in English Language .
( Try to understand and be contemporary ) I said obstinately aiming to stand my ground and not to lean or give up. I served that international company for two decades ، acquired good experience, improved fluency in English with the help of the community whom I shoulder the work with ,it was an added value to my job as an English teacher .
It seems that the man was more stubborn than me, never changed his mind a pint .!!..
In complete despair I confronted him with the fact that my stay as an expatriate serving and leading a good job was by all means should be taken as a merit same as post graduate studies for which a person rewarded and issued a certificate of accomplishment .
Lastly I swolled my pride , left the place with broken heart due to defeat that I never counted for , that day I departed with government schools, compulsory I knocked the door of private shools .
Although my look to private shools is negative, I sent them my credentials, which they accepted giving me s post of English teacher in one of the schools in Khartoum the capital where cultural centres are available and newspapers houses are easy to approach.
Luckily I began to errect my pen relations with the famous journal ( Al – sudani ) . At that time that grand publication was led wisely by the editor – in – chief, Ustaz Mahgob Irwa and his deputy Noraldein Medani , who is famous for his rich experience in the arena of her Majesty, Journalism , along with his good and refined manners and vast culture.
The tenth of October 2010 the ownership of Al -;sudani was transferred to another person.
Same as what had happened in Al – Sharq Al – Awsat with the advent of a new leader where the Parliament Page disappeared also the same Page had gone with the wind concluding a lavish era of democracy that prevailed during the golden age of the trustworthy couple, Mr. Irwa and Al – Sheikh Noraldein Medani.
