Next day following outbreak of October Revelation The Hantoubian crossed to Wad – Medani amid intensive fumes of tear – gas , The Junta on horse backs equipped with pistols , whips and heavy sticks , they lashed , hit , used pistols at intervals meaning to create an atmosphere of horror among the crowds who had shown diabolic courage confronting the ultra cruility with naked chests , bare – handed alongwith unpreceded patriotism never known recently .
Hantoub Deputy Headmaster , Ustaz Ahmed Hassan Fadlalseid , after the students have declared strike and issued documents of travel to go home , they took part and played a significant role in igniting demonstrations against the gang of November who took over the power after being handed to them by the Omma Party Chief Colonel Abdallah Khalil , the Prime Minister . That gentleman , the real educator assumed that his students , undoubtedly would clash with the a regiment here or there in Wad – Medani a matter which might result in grief quensequenses , fatal injuriabes that conflict them heavily . That genuine father felt it was his duty to leave his office , go to Wad – Medani to urge the students not to come in directl cotact with the soldiers , asked them to maintain their utmost for protection and adviced them kindly to disperse calling on them that it would be better to leave the scene altogether to go home .
It is worthwhile mentioning that , when the strike was declared , subsequently the students abandoned their boarding houses and gathererd outside the premises of the school , at a point called ( Haraz Tree ) famous for being the favourite place for holding political events.
Saifuldein , Duputy Headmaster son , innocently headed to his father house instead of joining his colleagues.
Upon seeing him his father asked him angrily :
( Why are you here this early morning ?!
It is supposed to be in your boarding house and then in the school ) .
( But , father , they went on strike ) .
( Aren’t you a student like them ) ?!
( Yes , of course Iam , dear respectful father.
( Therefore it is wise to be one hand with them ) .
( Moreover your coming here at this crucial moments they may thought of as a reporting of a strike by you to your father who is in charge of thd school .
Oh my son ,, they may take you as an spy and you will be lesser in their eyes ) .
Saifuldein thanked his respectful father for this valuable lesson he has just received from him and immediately hurried to ( Al Haraz Tree ) to chant October songs hand in hand with his colleagues .
