أعلنت بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي في السودان أن وفدا من قادة أحزاب المعارضة نقل لسفير الاتحاد الاوروبي في السودان قلقهم إزاء التحديات التى تواجه الحوار الوطني وحالة الحريات السياسية. وأكد قادة احزاب الإصلاح الآن، تحالف قوى الشعب العاملة، الاشتراكي العربي الناصري، التضامن الديمقراطي السوداني ومنتدى شرق السودان الديمقراطي اهتمامهم للمشاركة في حوار وطني هادف على أساس خريطة الطريق التى اتفقت عليها أحزاب 7 + 7 في أغسطس عام 2014 وأتفاق أديس أبابا في سبتمبر عام 2014.
ودعت أحزاب المعارضة السودانية إلى إنشاء بيئة مواتية للحوار الوطني، والى اتفاق حول الانتخابات من خلال الحوار الوطني وإطلاق سراح جميع المعتقلين السياسيين.
وصرح سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي أن الحوار الوطني السوداني السلمي هو شأن داخلي لكل السودانيين و التي من شأنه أن يعود بالفائدة على جميع السودانيين إذا نجح.
وأضاف السفير توماس يوليشني بأن السلام والتنمية والديمقراطية لا يمكن تحقيقها إلا من خلال حوار وطني شامل وجامع وشفاف.
وأضاف السفير توماس أن الحوار يجب أن يعقد في بيئة مواتية مع ضمان الحريات ، واطلاق سراح السجناء السياسيين وادخال تدابير أخرى لبناء الثقة. وينبغي أن ترافق هذه العملية وقف الأعمال العدائية ووصول المساعدات الإنسانية إلى المدنيين في مناطق النزاع.
وأكد سفير الاتحاد الاوروبي ان التحول السلمي في السودان نتيجة لعملية الحوار الوطني سوف يتمتع السودان من خلاله بالاستقرار الداخلي والازدهار وعلاقات مستقرة مع المجتمع الدولي.
واشار سفير الاتحاد الاوروبي الى قرار وزراء خارجية دول الاتحاد الاوروبي الصادر يوم 20 أكتوبر عام 2014 حيث دعا وزراء الخارجية الاوربيين أصحاب المصلحة السودانية اظهار القيادة الضرورية لوضع السودان على طريق السلام والازدهار والعدالة.
EU briefed by opposition parties on the state of National Dialogue
The Delegation of the European Union to Sudan announced that a delegation from the leaders of the opposition parties conveyed to Ambassador Tomas Ulicny, Head of Delegation of the European Union their concern about the challenges in the national dialogue and the continued setback in political freedoms. The leaders of Reform Now, Working People Forces Alliance, Arab Nasserist Socialist Party, Sudanese Solidarity Democratic Party and East Sudan Democratic Forum reiterated their interest to participate in a meaningful national dialogue based on the agreed 7+7 Roadmap of August and Addis Agreement of September 2014. They called for the establishment of a conducive environment, an agreement on elections within the national dialogue and release of all political detainees.
The European Union Ambassador recalled that peaceful national dialogue is an all-Sudanese internal process that will benefit all the Sudanese if it succeeds.
Ambassador Tomas Ulicny agreed that peace, development and democracy can only be achieved through an inclusive, comprehensive and transparent national dialogue. This dialogue has to be held in a conducive environment with guaranteed freedoms, released political prisoners while other confidence building measures were also introduced. The process should be accompanied by a cessation of hostilities and humanitarian access to civilians in conflict areas. A peacefully transformed Sudan as result of a successfully accomplished National Dialogue process will enjoy internal stability, prosperity and stable relations with the international community.
