سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي يلتقي الترابي
التقى الدكتور حسن عبد الله الترابي بمنزله في حي المنشية السفير توماس يوليشنى، رئيس بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي في السودان في اجتماع حضره رموز من حزب المؤتمر الشعبي. بعد الاجتماع صرح سفير الاتحاد الاوروبي للصحفيين الموجودين ان الغرض من الاجتماع هو التوصل إلى فهم أفضل لآراء ومواقف المؤتمر الشعبي من الحوار الوطني والتي من المتوقع ان تعقد اجتماعاته في الفترة المقبلة.
و أكد السفير توماس يوليشني أن الاتحاد الأوروبي يدعم عملية الإصلاح على أن تكون شفافة وشاملة وجامعة لا استعادة السلام والاستقرار في السودان ومنطقة القرن الافريقي. وأضاف أن المصالحة لا يمكن أن تتحقق الا بمشاركة كافة اطياف المجتمع والاحزاب والتيارات السياسية.
وأوضح السفير توماس يوليشنى مناقشة قلق الاتحاد الأوروبي من دور العناصر المتشددة من اتلاف العلاقة بين السودان والغرب. وطالب الدبلوماسي الاوروبي التصدي للايدلوجيات والشبكات المتشددة واعلاء وتشجيع قيم التسامح والحوار بين الاديان والتعايش السلمي المشترك.
EU says real dialogue should be inclusive to all spectrums
Dr. Hassan Abdullah Al Turabi received Ambassador Tomas Ulicny, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Sudan in a meeting attended by senior party members from the Popular Congress Party.
After the meeting, Ambassador Tomas Ulincy informed the journalists that the purpose of the meeting is to better understand the opinion and positions of the Popular Congress ahead of the upcoming National Dialogue meetings.
Ambassador Tomas Ulicny said that he reiterated the European Union support to a transparent, comprehensive and inclusive reform process that will restore peace and stability in Sudan and the region. Reconciliation can be achieved only if parties from all spectrums of the society and all regions are on board.
Ambassador Tomas discussed further the concern of the European Union about the role of extremist elements in damaging the relations between Sudan and the West. The European diplomat said the spread of extremist roots, ideologies and networks should be confronted and that the values of tolerance, inter-faith dialogue and coexistence should be promoted.
