صدر على أمازون ككتاب الكتروني مؤلفي "العقل البدوي: لن أكون راعياً في المرة القادمة". وهو يجادل عقيدة مؤثلة عند الصفوة الحديثة مفادها أن العقل الرعوي هو الذي من وراء أزمة السودان المتطاولة. فعلى حداثة هذه الفئة ومشاربها الغربية وسلطانها في الدولة إلا أنه، متى تطرقت للمحنة السودانية، عزتها لهذا العقل الكامن المتلمظ للخراب الذي يحبط كل نواياها الحسنة تجاه شعبها. يجادل الكتاب هذه الفرية. ويقول إنه والله لو كنا أسرى هذا العقل الرعوي حقاً لأحسنا صنعاً وسلمت الأمة. فما يزال هذا العقل الملعون صفوياً يجلب ٤٤٨ مليون دولار للدخل القومي بتصدير سعية يتولى ترشيدها في بيئة قاحلة بعامة يتسقط في مراحيله كل قطرة ماء وكل خصلة نبات. ويحتل السودان المركز الأول عالمياً في هذه الصناعة الشيء الذي لم يقع لنا من القطاع الحديث. والكتاب مهدى إلى: إلى رفيق العمر الشاعر كمال الجزولي لخطوه الرشيق المديد الوئيد لفتح إقليم "الغنا الانسدا"
The Nomadic Mind: I Won’t be a Nomad Next Time
The staple justification for the longstanding crisis in the Sudan presented by its political elites is because of the nomadic mind permeating their culture. Although modern and raised in Western milieus, these elites complain that their best intentions toward their people are subverted by this unrelenting, famished mind. In viewing this modern elitist’s attribution of this crisis as a ruse, the book argues that had our problem been the nomadic mind we could have forged ahead in nation-building. This discredited mind is responsible for bringing in 448 million dollars to the national income making the Sudan the first in exporting sheep and goats, the second first for the Sudan in world records. This undervalued mind in elite discourse raises these animals in mostly arid lands cleverly traversed by nomads to utilize the last drop of water and the last leaf of blade for the well-being of their herds.
