Public Relations Office at one of Mennisota universities directly I talked to the official there :
( Please ، I want to apply for a post as new student at any of your faculties according to your regulations in this regard ) .
He looked at me up and down concentraing on my snowy head and unsteadily stand due to impact of Romatism Which showed itself vividly in the form of cracking knees being audible to everyone waiting nearby .
I guessed he said to himself :
( What does this seventy years old figure seek here ) ?!
It seemed that I decoded his thoughts , so I rapidly began to tell him about hidden story of my life , to which he listened attentivly , he offered me a seat and ordered a cup of hot coffee when he noticed that my limbs were shivering from cold .
( To be frank , Iam on a visit to my daughter , who holds the American Citizenship and according to law my acquiring of the Green Card is guaranteed. To join a university is an aim and priority for me ) .
( Look here in America , no one is derived of the right to admission to high education what ever his age is ) !!..
I judged that he voiced an encouraging words that made me happy and hopeful .
He wanted to get more information about this special affair that occupied my thinking since I first touched the soil of Dream Land .
He added : ( But what do you now ?!
( I am an intermediate school teacher ) .
( For how long ) ?!
( For nearly 50 years ( half a century ) !!..
( And you are still performing your job )?!
I nodded Yes !!..
Here he stood and looked at me amazingly and concluded trustly :
( In this case the university will admit you as a lecturer since you are bestowed with this vast experience that is valued as a rich aaccumalated fortune from which future generations will benefit a lot) !!..
I lef his office rejoiced extensively , dreaming that the Vice Chancellor will take me to his office to complete the necessary formalities that will qualify me as a staff member !!..
