الاتحاد الأوروبي يرحب بالإفراج عن الطلاب النشطاء المعتقلين ويدعو إلى اتخاذ مزيد من الخطوات نحو الاحترام الكامل لحقوق الإنسان

بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي وسفارات الدول الأعضاء في السودان، فضلا عن سفارة النرويج تصدر البيان التالي:
إن رؤساء بعثات الاتحاد الأوروبي وسفير النرويج في الخرطوم ترحب بالإفراج يوم الجمعة 11 يوليو 2014 عن النشطاء السياسيين تاج السر جعفر، محمد صلاح و معمر موسى محمد المعتقلين بدون تهمة منذ 12 مايو 2014، ونحن نعتقد أن هذه هي خطوة في الاتجاه الصحيح لضمان ممارسة الحريات السياسية الأساسية. يجب أن تتبع هذه الخطوة الإفراج عن جميع المعتقلين السياسيين الآخرين وغيرها من الخطوات نحو الاحترام الكامل لحقوق الإنسان في السودان”

EU statement on the release of political detainees in Sudan

The Delegation of the European Union and the Embassies of its Member States in Sudan, as well as the Embassy of Norway issue the following statement:
“The EU Heads of Mission and the Ambassador of Norway in Khartoum welcome the release on Friday 11 July 2014 of the political activists Tajelsir Jaafar, Mohamed Salah and Moamar Musa Mohamed detained without charge since 12 May 2014. We believe this is a step in the right direction to guarantee the exercise of basic political freedoms. This move should be followed by the release of all other political detainees and other steps toward the full respect for human rights in Sudan.”
