I have a Dream for 2024
ترجمة:د.أحمد جمعة صديق
I have a dream that you no more
Rate me with the colour of my skin

And that you will not Judge me
in terms of my kith or my kin

And that my pigmentation
Will no longer be the mark of my nation
And to determine my social situation

And that the color of my eye
Is no a sign of any indication

And that the touch of my hair
Won't count for race categorization

I have a dream that children of the nation
Will only be judged by the mere education

I have a dream that my country
Will be the happiest in the century
اني احلم
بأنك لن تحكم عليّ بعد اليوم بلون بشرتي
وأنك لن تحكم عليّ بمن يكون أهلي أوعشيرتي
وأن لون صبغتي ليست علامة لتواضعي أو رفعتي
وأن لوني لن يحدثك كثيرا عن حالتي أو اسرتي
وأن لون عيني إشارة تخصني انا ولا تخص أمتي
وأن شعري لا ينبيك عن عراقتي أوأصلي
واحلم أن ارى أطفال أمتي سواسية في المدرسة
يعرفون بما تعلموا وانجزوا في الفصل
واحلم بامتي في بلدي السودان
سعيدة تتقلب في موائد الرحمن
