Despite…In spite of…
Despite your full authority
In spite of my severe pains
Despite the long captivity
And in spite of the chains
Despite my inability to refrain
And in spite of all restrains
Despite your limitless might
I will fight
For my rights
And will remain
Like a free eagle on the top
of the Marah Mountain
I will remain
The sky above is mine
The valley, the air as well
And the vast plain

بالرغم من... بالرغم عن...

رغم سلطانك من غير حدود
ورغم أوجاعي وأنا قليل الحيلة مهدود
رغم الأسر وهو طويل
ورغم القيد وهو جد ثقيل
رغم عجزي وكل قيودي
رغم بطشك من غير حدود
سأناضل عن حقي وحق جدودي
وسابقى حرا مثل النسر
ارتاد الصخرة تلو الضخره
في أعلى جبل مره
تحت قدمي سماء زرقاء
والهواء عليل ملك يدي
والوادي الواسع لي
ايضا والسهل الشاسع
